Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage Unforgettable Car uses, what each one is for, and how to turn them off.
Unforgettable Car uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Most of them exist just to keep you signed in and remember the video you were building.
Cookies we set
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
Session cookies (better-auth.*) | Keep you signed in after Google sign-in. | Until you sign out, or up to 7 days |
signup_attribution | Remembers the link or campaign that first brought you here, so we can see which channels work. | 30 days |
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE | Remembers the site language. | 1 year |
Browser storage
- Theme: whether you chose light or dark mode (local storage).
- Generator draft: your selected photo and car, kept for the current tab only (session storage), so your work survives signing in or checking out.
Third-party cookies
- Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Analytics (if enabled, for example Google Analytics, Plausible or Microsoft Clarity) may set cookies to count visits and understand how the site is used.
- Google sets its own cookies when you sign in with your Google account.
Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block session cookies, you won't be able to sign in or generate videos. Blocking analytics cookies doesn't affect the generator.
Changes
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top.
